Scholarship Program

The Terry Fisher American Legion Post No. 117 is very pleased to announce it will
award the following scholarships:
ONE $10,000.00 scholarship and

FOUR $5,000.00 scholarships

to a total of 5 deserving high school graduating seniors for use while attending a
certified two or four year college, university or vocational/technical school this year.

To qualify, the student must be a child of an active duty or honorably discharged or
retired Veteran of the Armed Forces of the United States of America, National Guard,
or Reserve Forces and a resident of Rockwall County.
 

Applicants must be registered students graduating from Rockwall ISD, or attending private school or home school.  The student MUST reside in Rockwall County

Rockwall and Rockwall-Heath High School applicants are requested to contact their
school guidance counselors and utilize the Rockwall ISD Local Scholarship
Application Form.

Qualifying students from outside the RISD should complete the application attached below before 29 March

A copy of a current military ID card or the military member's DD214  (Certification of Release or Discharge from Active Duty) MUST be included in the application to be considered.
